Paired words

If you tried loading the online photo editing website Picnik in a slow broadband connection, you'll see paired words distracting you from concentrating on the status bar.
(I remember fluffy clouds. Something about colours. And of course, planting trees.)

It's interesting how the words are being played upon. A noun / adjective and a verb put together to create a visual picture, a conceptualisation of ideas, a combination of what is being seen and what is being felt.

The picture was taken on Tue night. A splurge out of desperation -- I was in KL for two meetings with the only pair of pumps missing its soles. Headed out to KLCC for an emergency pair of pumps, which turned out to be the best mood lifter for next morning.

Playing the two-words game using the picture, breaking that noun / adjective + verb combo at times:

Necessary purchase. Ballerina feel. Affordable beauty.
Mood lifter. (Mentioned it earlier and I think it's important to mention it again)
Office appropriate. Quick fix. In style.
Appealing presentation. Defying conventions. (Black Crocs, black pumps, black heels... this is the first coloured pair I've had since 2009)

Surprising coincidence. (Brought a striped purple-and-white shirt for meeting; realised the matching pair after paying for the pair of pumps).

Questionable investment. (This pair, as with other pumps, will last for 1 month, max)
Feminine touch. (I do feel like a girl with this pair of pumps. Can't really justify why do I feel this way.)

Happy feet. (No pun intended)

Purple love? Dented hearts? Lasting connection? Having faith? Missing confidence?
Recurring incidences.
Genuine feelings. Doubting others. Doubting self. Opportunity costs.

Finding anchors. Holding on.

Easy tonight.
